Hip-hop artist, Cassper Nyovest, has publicly admitted to missing the gym, despite having a home gym, stating that he will no longer avoid gym sessions after the national lockdown.
On Wednesday, 8 April 2020, Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to state how much he misses going to a public gym. The Good For That rapper admitted to slacking before the 21-day lockdown and now that he cannot attend the gym, he recognises how much he misses the experience.
When a social media user questioned if he does not have a gym in his luxurious home, the rapper revealed that he does. However, he went on to clarify that what he misses the most are the social interactions at public gyms, which enable the sharing of various techniques and tips, whilst being motivated by other gym enthusiasts.
This is not the first time that he has opened up about slacking at the gym. Cassper first did so before his Fill Up Royal Bafokeng concert, revealing the hard work he had to put in to physically prepare for the concert to make up for previously slacking.

I really really really miss the Gym. Its crazy cause before the lockdown I hated the gym and I was overweight like a MOFO. Hahaha. I promise I’m never gonna run away from the gym again when this is over.

I do have a home gym but it’s not the same. I miss training with people, learning techniques and improving my form. I also miss walking around the gym and being inspired by different physics, it makes you wanna push more. https://t.co/KekD8mVclO
